Help us feed animals and make compost
Leftovers and scraps used to feed birds, agoutis and guinea pigs, and sometimes cattle (fruits and vegetables.)
Fruit and vegetable peels, leftover bread, biscuits, cereal and wheat products. Doesn't matter if the sell by date has passed, as long as it's not moldy or smelly, it's still good. And even then, it still can be tossed into the compost bin. Remember expiry/sell-by dates are only the legal date that a product must be sold by or before!
